Kitchen Safety - As a chef or food service operator, safety in the kitchen is a very important thing when you're working. In busy commercial kitchen, lit a lot of fire, sharp tools, and hot utensils that is used by chefs working properly, have the potential of an accident.

Observe proper etiquette to prevent accidental burns, slips, falls, cuts, wounds or other hazards in the kitchen. The kitchen has plenty of physical hazards that may not be realised, and everyone should be aware of and avoid the dangers.

Do not rush or run in preparing the food, and when you're in the cooking area. Although you have to serve diners at the right time, in a hurry to save a few seconds can cause you to have a rest in the hospital and even worse to leave scars on the rest of your life.

Make sure everyone understands the correct way to use a variety of equipments and kitchen utensils. Read the instructions and make sure electrical appliance is safe to use. Always keep the equipment in hazardous work desk. Do not use an appliance for something that is not necessary.
