What is Safety ? - Safety is a condition of being protected from or unlikely to cause danger, risk, or injury.

Occupational Health and Safety means providing a conducive work environment and the steps that are reasonable precaution for preventing people who work from injury or health effects due to work activities carried out.

There are several principles of occupational safety and health, namely;
  • Accident prevention is the most important aspect of good management and skills
  • The management and employees must work together to ensure a workplace free of any accidents
  • The involvement of top management is preferred, in leading the implementation of safety at work
  • Occupational safety and health policies should be held and known to all employees in the workplace
  • Organisation and resource that need to be built and prepared to support to the occupational safety and health
  • Knowledge and the best available methods used
Employers, employees, self-employed persons, designers, manufacturers, importers and suppliers of plant / product is responsible for their obligations to ensure the safety and health at work is guaranteed.
