Computer Safety - A computer can be found anywhere in this age. They can be viewed either at home, at school, in shops, in offices, and so on. However, no matter how the computer can be present, and how often and how long we use in our daily lives, how many of us are aware of the health and safety in using a computer?

Awareness of the health and safety of the computer show users how to use their computers in a proper manner to avoid the risk of injuries due to repetitive strain, back strain and eye strain. To ensure that you are using a computer with healthy and safe, so follow these tips:
  • Arrange your computer away from windows to avoid glares on the computer screen. In another situation, glares can also occur when light bounces off the screen into your eyes. This can affect your vision, making it difficult and as a result, you may experience eye strain.
  • Check your screen brightness settings and set at a rate that are comfortable to your vision. If the setting is too bright, it can cause strain on your eyes.
  • Make sure the distance between your screen and your seat should be at least 19-27 inches away.
  • Make sure your screen is at eye level or below. If it is above eye level, it may strain your neck and eyes.
  • Make sure that your computer is free of dust. Clean your monitor regularly to look clean and clear. Dust and dirt will make it harder to see the screen.
  • When you use the mouse, move your whole arm instead of just your wrist. This could reduce repetitive motion in your wrist joints.
  • Take frequent breaks or after 20 minutes of work in front of screens to loosen your muscles and avoid strain on your eyes.
  • Choose a chair that supports your back to avoid pressure on the lower spine.
Computer safety is really important when viewed in terms of Health and Safety.
