Action in case of fire

Small fire 

Extinguish using the appropriate fire extinguisher.

Fire alarming stage

  • Do not panic to avoid making a wrong action.
  • Please call the fire brigade.
  • Activate the fire alarm by breaking the emergency glass breaking tool.
  • Next, please follow the evacuation procedure.



Building Evacuation Procedures

  • Stop all work immediately. 
  • Turn off all electrical power. 
  • Stop all machines. 
  • Close the gas and all combustible materials from being exposed. 
  • Close all windows and doors. 
  • Exit through the safe passage. If the door is hot fire resistance, leave it closed and 
  • Use other routes. 
  • Do not use elevators. 
  • Do not run. 
  • Do not push each other. 
  • Do not intentionally make noise. 
  • Do not panic and chaos. 
  • Do not hide or take refuge in the toilet, store or rest rooms. 
  • Do not turn around to pick up items left behind. 
  • Gather in a safe place as set of the assembly point.
  • Cooperate and follow the instructions of incidents officer or security guard.


Action If Caught In Smoke

In a fire, the smoke moved ahead of the fire. The smoke is a threat because it is hot, stifling breathing, poisonous and blocks the view to save you. As a guide to save you from the smoke of fire, the following must be observed: 
  • Moving out to safety by lowering the body or crawl if need short while breathing through the nose. 
  • If possible, cover your nose with a wet towel or cloth. 
  • Use the back of the palm of the hand to grope way through the wall to meet the exit.

Action If Trapped In Burning Building

If trapped in a burning building following must be followed: 
  • Close all doors between you and the fire to prevent fire spread quickly. 
  • Stuffed all the doors and vent slit with a cloth or the like that can be to reduce the smoke and heat. 
  • Go to the window to call for help by waving a brightly coloured cloth or a flash light. 
  • Do not jump from the window and wait for the Fire and Rescue arrived.
