The objective of the topics that will be discussed in series is intended to:
- Identify the types of safety hazards in the workplace.
- Determining at least two (2) steps that can be taken to prevent and reduce the danger of any safety hazards in the workplace.
HAZARD DEFINITION
Hazard is the physical or chemical conditions that have the potential to cause injury or illness to humans, property damage and environmental destruction.
SAFETY HAZARD CATEGORIES
Safety hazards are categorized into:
- Fire hazard
- Electrical hazards
- Mechanical hazards
