Forklift Safety - Forklift is one of the lifting equipment, which are widely used in industry, including in warehouses. Since moving very swiftly, forklift often be a solution for the transfer of goods that require speed with a narrow location.

Safety in the use of a forklift is needed to prevent accidents that can result in injury or death to workers. Measures to ensure the safe use of forklifts shall include the following items;

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Pre Start Checklists
• Seat belts
• General Operation
• Driving On Roads
• Re-fueling and Maintenance
• Risk Ratings

Before Commencing Forklift Work, be sure;

• Day Operations: Safety footwear, high visibility shirt or vest, sun protection if required (broad brim hat, sun screen, tinted safety glasses).
• Night Operations:
 Safety footwear, safety vest or shirt suitable for night work (i.e. with reflective strips).
