Health and Safety Policy - OSH management system should contain the main elements of such a policy, organising, planning and implementation, evaluation and action for improvement. The main arrangement for developing policy was contained elements as below.
Employers, in consultation with workers and their representatives, should:
- declare in writing the basic safety and health (OSH)
- the purposes of the OSH policy should be known to all employees and external parties
- the OSH policy should be displayed where appropriate,
- the OSH policy should be reviewed from time to time
OSH policy should state the employer is committed to:
- protect workers from all sources of hazard / hazardous work;
- comply with the law and best practice standards of OSH;
- encourage the active involvement of workers in the OSH program through negotiations for the improvement of OSH at the workplace.
