Safety Solutions - Generally it is based on ILO-OSH 2001 and the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA). This system shall include the main elements of such a policy, organising, planning and implementation, evaluation and action for improvement. According to the diagram above, the categories in question are:
Includes activities related to the development of occupational health safety policy for the organisation and structure and practices that ensure worker participation is active and significant for the preparation of occupational safety and health.
Organising
Include the establishment of structures for responsibilities in occupational health and safety and accountability, training system, competency, documentation system and communication practices.
Planning & Implementtion
Includes activities related to compliance with the principles set out in the OSH Management System policy statement. Activities include a preliminary assessment of the arrangements for OSH management system that supports the real planning system, development and implementation functions.
Evaluation
Includes functions related to management performance measurement system. This involves the development of performance monitoring and evaluation protocols, accident investigation practices, auditing methods and checking the management order.
Improvement Actions
Issues related to preventive / corrective actions and improvements. Based on information gathered from the performance monitoring, measurement and investigation, audit and management review, preventive / corrective actions for continuous improvement can be taken.
