Safety Signs - Safety signs are visual signs shaped in the form of signs, labels, stickers or other mark or advise users of the environment and the level of potential hazard that could cause an accident. It can also give directions to eliminate or reduce hazards and inform about the possibility or probability if not avoid the danger.

Basically safety signs are designed to inform employees about the dangers inherent in such places, as well as to avoid accidents from happening. Effective safety signs are signs that can identify and name all the possible hazards that employees need to know. Signage should be read at a glance form is insistence signs or emergency.

The method used to meet the requirements is using certain colours, geometric shapes and graphic forms have been standardised. There are 5 basic colours used.
